MI Healthy Climate Plan 2023 Report

This report provides a snapshot of activities undertaken in 2023 by the Council on Climate Solutions and a brief summary of some of the key activities state government and stakeholders have taken across Michigan to support implementation of the MI Healthy Climate Plan. This report is not meant to be exhaustive, but rather illustrative of the many actions being taken across the state toward reaching a carbon neutral Michigan.

The MI Justice40 Accelerator is a 12-month cohort-based program for community-based organizations serving disadvantaged communities. Twenty-five participants joined a year-long cohort, starting in September 2024 and received $25,000 in unrestricted grant money to develop projects that bring investments into overburdened and underserved communities to reduce pollution, create jobs, and improve public health and quality of life.
