Vermont Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory and Forecast: 1990 – 2021

Vermont Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory and Forecast reports provide annual estimates of the amount of human caused (anthropogenic) greenhouse gases emitted annually in Vermont. The reports calculate emissions by sector and track the levels of greenhouse gas emissions for the state as accurately and consistently as possible through time, beginning with the 1990 baseline year, and is the metric by which Vermont determines its progress towards meeting the required emissions levels established in the Global Warming Solutions Act (GWSA).
